Information icon Hello, I'm Suneye1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Kannada, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - SUN EYE 1 13:37, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Ninetyone. I noticed that you recently removed content from Indian Space Research Organisation without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ninety:one 18:39, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The Show preview button is right next to the Publish changes button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Jklamo (talk) 18:47, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Rio Apaporis caiman

[edit]

Hello, Christiano de aryande,

Thank you for creating Rio Apaporis caiman.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs more references to meet general notability. See WP:GNG

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Whiteguru (talk) 21:25, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have added more reference on that topic Christiano de aryande (talk) 13:43, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Regarding this edit: it simply is not true that this is "approved" and "no one can edit it" - "no editor owns an article and any contributions can and may be mercilessly edited". The particular source you have added is an open wiki and is therefore not considered a reliable source. Please don't continue to restore it. Nikkimaria (talk) 14:09, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

OK i agree . Christiano de aryande (talk) 08:49, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Oversimplified

[edit]

Hello, Christiano de aryande, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Slatersteven, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Oversimplified, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oversimplified (2nd nomination).

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Slatersteven}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Slatersteven (talk) 10:20, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree on deleting the article because oversimplified is a YouTube channel with over 5.6 million views and most of my points are legible you can see my reference. Christiano de aryande (talk) 10:57, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm CollectiveSolidarity. I noticed that you recently removed content without adequately explaining why. Because of ongoing sanctions and the collapse of the Russian economy I think we should remove it from potential superpower Christiano de aryande (talk) 05:55, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Don't unilaterally do this because there are still plenty of sources arguing Russia is a superpower. I personally agree with you but we do as the sources say. CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 16:55, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Christiano de aryande (talk) 15:31, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2022 Shivamogga riots requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.thenewsminute.com/article/let-down-govt-and-cops-during-riot-muslims-shivamogga-live-anxiety-161391 and https://thewire.in/communalism/shivamogga-muslim-violence-bajrang-dal. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. How to give credit to other news outlet Christiano de aryande (talk) 16:12, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It is a direct copy paste. You can't do that. Mvqr (talk) 16:20, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on United States. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 15:02, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:51, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
